My name is Evan Ehrenberg (online pseudonym: Lako), a New York-based writer with a passion for visual and audio storytelling. My goal is to write and direct my own studio film. Over the years, I have crafted a profound love for film and music, both propelling my creative endeavors. To transport my work and opinions, I have used social media platforms such as YouTube, Twitter (X), and TikTok.
Why film?
Since I was a child, I had strong aspirations to become a filmmaker. My earliest influence was director Steven Spielberg. Films like “Jurassic Park” and “Jaws” were especially formative, seeing true creative vision for the first time… I even dressed as Spielberg for a school project about our “heroes”.
Continuing into my teenage years, I found intrigue in more experimental and eloquent movies, especially those from the Coen brothers. Analyzing these films became a daily habit for me, leading me to spread my word on social media. After years of absorbing material, it felt only right to start writing short stories and screenplays. Film is my passion, and not once have I questioned that.
